Vet Referrals for Pets

Depending on your pet’s needs, they might need to be referred to our hospital. Our veterinary team prides itself on providing exceptional veterinary care for all furry friends who visit us. This means we’re dedicated to providing your pet with the individualized support they need, when they need it the most.

When do you accept referrals?

We accept referrals on an ongoing basis, depending on your pet’s needs. For example, our hospital includes top-of-the-line diagnostic imaging technology, like X-rays and ultrasounds, to provide insight into how your pet’s internal organs or bones are functioning. We also have an in-house laboratory and surgery suites for furry friends. If you are a referring veterinarian and have questions about the process, please contact us at 416.941.8920.

Who manages my pet’s care?

Your primary veterinarian will be responsible for your pet’s care, though our veterinary team will walk through any diagnosis or procedures before they happen. For example, if your furry friend is scheduled for an upcoming surgery, we understand how difficult it might be to trust your pet with an unfamiliar team. We try our best to ease your anxieties by walking you through the procedure and ensuring you have all the information you need. Our surgical suites are optimized with your pet’s comfort in mind, which helps them feel more at ease during their procedure. Our team of experts have over 25 years experience delivering quality pet care so you can rest assured your pet will receive best possible care.
